Alright, let’s talk about this Coffee Mate Amaretto Creamer, you know, the one folks keep yapping about.
I heard tell some time back they just up and stopped makin’ it. January 2015, they say. Can you believe that? Folks got their knickers in a twist, I tell ya. This fella, Daniel Jhung, some bigwig over at Coffee Mate, he said they got letters and calls, folks even hollerin’ on that there social media stuff.
But this Judy lady, she was the loudest, I guess. Good for her! Sometimes you gotta make a fuss to get what you want.
Anyways, people went plum crazy wantin’ that Amaretto flavor back. Why they stopped makin’ it in the first place is beyond me. Makes no sense. It’s like takin’ sunshine away on a summer day.
- That Amaretto taste, it’s something special. They say it’s “rich.” I don’t know about fancy words like that. To me, it just tastes good, you know? Like a little treat in your coffee. Makes it all warm and cozy inside.
- People kept askin’ where they could find it. They was searchin’ high and low, drivin’ all over creation just to get a bottle. Some places had it, some didn’t. It was a whole mess, I tell ya. Now, they tellin’ folks to use some “product locator” thingy. Find it online or somethin’. Sounds complicated to me. Why can’t they just put it in all the stores, like they used to?
- You can buy it online now, I hear. They got these big packs, four bottles at a time. Guess that’s good if you use a lot. Me, I just like a little splash now and then. But if you really love it, you can stock up, I reckon. They even got these little single-serve thingies, too. For folks on the go, I guess.
- And some folks are even makin’ their own! I seen some recipes online, but ain’t nobody got time for that, I say. Too much fuss. I’d rather just buy the dang stuff, if I could find it.
I ain’t sure what the big deal is with where they sell it. Seems like everywhere should have it, if you ask me. This whole “limited” thing is just plain silly. If people want it, they should be able to get it, right? That’s just common sense.
It ain’t like it’s some fancy-pants thing that nobody can afford. It’s just coffee creamer, for cryin’ out loud. But for some folks, it’s more than that. It’s their little bit of happiness in the mornin’. It’s what gets them goin’. And there’s nothin’ wrong with that.
I remember my old man, he used to say, “A good cup of coffee can fix just about anything.” And he was right, you know. And sometimes, a little somethin’ extra, like that Amaretto flavor, just makes it even better.
So, if you’re one of them folks who loves that Coffee Mate Amaretto Creamer, don’t give up hope. Keep lookin’ for it. Keep askin’ for it. Maybe they’ll listen and bring it back everywhere, like they should. And if you do find some, savor every drop. Cause you never know when it might disappear again.
And if that fancy marketing director fella is listenin’, here’s a message for ya: Just make the darn creamer and put it on the shelves. People want it, they’ll buy it. Simple as that. No need for all this fuss and bother.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m gonna go make myself a cup of coffee. Plain, I guess. Unless I get lucky and find me some of that Amaretto stuff.
