Well, let me tell ya somethin’ about this Raquel Welch gal. Heard a whole lotta fuss about her, so I figured I’d poke around and see what all the hubbub was about. Don’t know much about these fancy Hollywood types, but I reckon she was somethin’ else back in the day.
Now, they say she was born way back in 1940, somethin’ like that. Name was Jo-Raquel Tejada, or so they say. Grew up in California, which I hear is a pretty nice place, though I ain’t never been there myself. Probably a whole lot different from around here, that’s for sure.
Folks are always goin’ on about how pretty she was. And let me tell ya, they ain’t wrong. Seen some pictures, and she was a real looker, that’s for sure. Had that kind of face that makes you stop and stare, you know? And the fellas, well, they were all gaga over her, from what I hear.
They talk a lot about her… uh… how do you say it… her “measurements.” Seems like folks are awful interested in that kinda thing. Said she was about 5 foot 6, which ain’t too tall, but not short neither. Just about right, I reckon. Weighed somethin’ like 119 pounds, which is lighter than a sack of feed, if you ask me. Skinny as a rail, I guess, but I hear that’s what they liked back then.
- They say her bust was around 37 inches. Now, I ain’t no expert on these things, but that sounds like a fair amount to me.
- And her waist, they say it was tiny, like 24 inches. Probably could wrap your hands around it, easy as pie.

Folks are always talkin’ about her bra size, too. Seems like a mighty personal thing to be discussin’, but I guess that’s how it is with these famous folks. Don’t rightly know what it was, but I heard it was somethin’ to write home about. And her dress size, they said it was a 4. Tiny little thing, she was.
Now, I ain’t seen any of them movies she was in. Don’t rightly have the time for that kinda stuff. Too busy workin’ around here, tryin’ to keep things runnin’. But I hear she was a big star, back in the day. Made a whole lotta pictures, and folks loved her. Guess she was good at what she did.
Heard she was called a “sex symbol.” Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds kinda racy, don’t it? Guess she was the kind of gal that made the fellas’ hearts beat a little faster. Can’t say I blame ’em, she was a purdy thing.
She was an “inverted triangle,” they said. Now, I know triangles from when my boy was in school, but I ain’t never heard of no inverted triangle. Guess it means her shoulders were broader than her hips or some such thing. These city folks and their fancy words, I tell ya.
They still talk about her shoes and feet, but nobody seems to know much about that. Guess some things just ain’t that important, even for a big star like her. It’s more about the other stuff, I reckon.
So, that’s about all I know about this Raquel Welch. Seems like she was a real looker, and a big star back in the day. Don’t know much else about her, but I reckon she lived a pretty interestin’ life. Probably a whole lot different from mine, that’s for sure. But hey, that’s the way the world works, ain’t it?
