- Cracked Foil: This one looks kinda messy, but in a good way. You crumple up the foil and then stick it on your nail. It looks like cracked glass or somethin’. Kinda modern, I guess.
Now, I seen some pictures of these nails, and some of them are right pretty. They got flowers, swirls, and even little geometric shapes. Lord, the things people come up with! Makes me wonder how they got so much time on their hands. But hey, if it makes ’em happy, who am I to judge?
I heard you can even do this foil nail thing at home. They sell these kits with all the stuff you need. I reckon it can’t be too hard. Probably just takes a steady hand and a little bit of patience. Although, with my eyesight gettin’ worse, I might need a magnifying glass and a whole lot of luck.
Some colors that seem real popular this summer are those bright ones, like the pinks and greens you see in the garden. And them pastel colors too, the soft blues and yellows, remind me of them baby blankets I used to knit.
And the shapes of nails, well, they change all the time too, don’t they? Some folks like ‘em long and pointy, some like ‘em short and square. I always kept mine short, you know, for workin’ around the house and garden. Long nails just get in the way, if you ask me.
