Alright, let’s talk about puttin’ flowers in them fancy cocktail glasses. You know, the kind them city folks use. I ain’t no expert, but I seen a thing or two, and I can tell ya how to make it look nice, real nice, without spendin’ a whole lot of money.
First off, you gotta get yourself some flowers. Don’t matter if they’re from your garden or the store, just make sure they ain’t all wilty and sad-lookin’. Pick the pretty ones, the ones that make ya smile. You know, the bright ones, the ones with the good smell. Like them roses, or them… whatchamacallits… lilacs! Yeah, them smell real nice.
Now, you need a glass. Them cocktail glasses, they come in all shapes and sizes. Them martini glasses, they look real fancy, but any glass will do, really. Even a regular ol’ water glass works just fine, if you ain’t got nothin’ else. Just make sure it’s clean, you don’t want no dirt or nothin’ in there.
- If you’re usin’ a martini glass, you can make it look all floaty. Just stick them flowers right in, make it look like they’re swimmin’ in there. Real pretty for a baby shower or somethin’. You can even put some leaves in there too, make it look… contrasty. Yeah, that’s the word.
- If you wanna get real fancy, put some of them shiny rocks in the bottom of the glass. Them fake diamond lookin’ things. Makes it all sparkly. Then stick the flowers on top. Looks real classy, like them rich folks have. Roses and that baby’s breath stuff, that’s a good combo.
- And if you ain’t got no cut flowers, you can even use a whole plant! Get a wine glass, put some dirt in it, and stick a little plant right in there. Boom! Instant flower pot. Cute as a button, I tell ya.
Now, about them flowers, some of ‘em you can even eat! But you gotta be careful, you don’t wanna go eatin’ somethin’ that’ll make ya sick. Do your homework, find out which ones are safe. Roses and jasmine, them are usually okay. You can put ‘em right in your drink, make it look real pretty. Or just stick ‘em on the side, for decoration.
If you’re gonna put flowers in your drink, you gotta know how to do it right. You can just stick ‘em in there, like a garnish. You know, like them lemon slices they put in them fancy drinks. Or you can use them as an ingredient, make the drink taste like flowers. But like I said, be careful, not all flowers are good for eatin’.
Making a summer arrangement? Well, you can use that green foamy stuff, stick it in the glass, and then stick the flowers in the foam. Keeps ‘em in place real good. Just trim them stems down so they ain’t too long. Start with the big flowers first, then fill in with the little ones. You can use all kinds of flowers, mix and match, make it look real pretty. Heck, you can even put flowers in a tin can if you want! Or a plastic cup. It don’t matter, long as it looks good to you.
And if you’re makin’ a drink with them hibiscus flowers, put one right in the glass, then pour in some bubbly stuff. Champagne, I think they call it. And add a little bit of that flower syrup, makes it sweet and pretty. Bottoms up! Eat the flower and all, it’s good for ya. Or so they say.
So there ya have it. Flowers in cocktail glasses. Easy peasy. Just use your imagination, have fun with it. Don’t be afraid to try new things. And if it don’t look perfect, who cares? It’s your flowers, your glass, your drink. You do it however you want.
