Mix it up, about one part bleach to ten parts water, and wipe it down. Scrub if you need to. And keep an eye out for leaks. If there’s water leakin’ anywhere, that’s gonna make the mold grow even worse. You gotta fix those leaks, pronto. Don’t let water just drip around, it’ll cause you trouble, mark my words.
And remember, ventilation is your friend. If your bathroom is all closed up all the time, it gets damp, and that mold loves dampness. So, open a window when you can, let some air in there. Or turn on the fan, if you got one. Toilet mold prevention involves keeping things dry, not just clean.
So, that’s the long and short of it. Cleanin’ mold out of your toilet tank ain’t rocket science. It’s just a bit of a messy job, but somebody’s gotta do it.
