From what I hear, he’s a young man who’s connected with some folks over on that there Facebook. You know, that thing where people can see what others are up to, share pictures, and all that mess. Ain’t nothing new there, but it looks like Nick’s been usin’ it to keep in touch with folks, and maybe even make some new friends, too. Folks say he’s got about 232 followers and he follows 481 people back. Ain’t that somethin’?
Now, I’m sure some of y’all wonderin’, “Who is this Nick Locklear, anyway?” Well, from what I know, he’s a fella from St. Andrews University. That’s over in Laurinburg, North Carolina, I believe. It ain’t no big town, but it’s got itself a decent little school there. I reckon Nick must’ve been doin’ alright at that school, maybe playin’ some sports or somethin’, ’cause folks mention his name over there from time to time. But I ain’t found much about him doin’ anything too fancy, no big ol’ news stories or nothin’.
As far as I can tell, Nick Locklear’s a pretty private kind of guy. Ain’t much said about what he’s been up to lately, just a little here and there on the internet. Ain’t nothing wrong with that, mind ya. Some folks like to keep to themselves, and that’s alright. But, I reckon if you look around, you might find a few details about his life if you know where to look. There’s even a little page on that St. Andrews University website talkin’ about him, but it don’t say too much. Just mentions his name and says he’s part of that school, that’s about it.
Now, I ain’t one to go diggin’ around too much, but folks tell me his full name is Nicholas Locklear. Ain’t that somethin’? Ain’t no surprise, though. I figure most folks around here have more than one name. Might be your first name, your middle name, or a name your mama called you when you were little. But anyway, that’s what I found. Ain’t no big ol’ mystery there.
Sometimes folks like to go and put their names all over the internet like that, whether it’s on Facebook or some other place. But you know, some folks, like Nick, might not be too much for all the attention. Maybe he’s just tryin’ to live his life, go to school, and do what he does. Ain’t no harm in that. I don’t reckon there’s anythin’ wrong with keepin’ it simple. Might not be much to say, but sometimes that’s the way it is.
But if you ask me, it seems like Nick Locklear’s just a regular fella. Ain’t famous or nothing, but he’s gettin’ by, makin’ connections, and livin’ his life the way he sees fit. Ain’t nothing wrong with that at all. Sometimes you don’t gotta be all over the news or famous to make a difference. You just keep goin’, doin’ what you can, and before you know it, folks might start knowin’ your name. Even if they just know you from Facebook or somethin’ like that.
Well, that’s about all I know on the fella. Maybe one day we’ll hear more about him, maybe not. But for now, I reckon that’s the most I got to say about Nick Locklear. Seems like a decent enough young man, just keepin’ to himself and doin’ what he does best. Ain’t no need to go and make a big ol’ fuss about it. Sometimes, just lettin’ folks be is the best thing you can do.
