Well now, sit down, I got a story for ya about them star folks and a little ol’ show they called Star Trek. It’s somethin’ that started back in 1966, when them folks first put their big ol’ space adventure on the TV screens. They say the show had all sorts of folks in it, like that Captain Kirk feller, and that green-blooded feller Spock. Now, don’t get me wrong, I ain’t much for all that space stuff, but them stars and planets, well, I can talk about that all day long.
Now, this here article’s about astrology and them signs, see. Folks been sayin’ for years that the stars can tell ya a lot about yourself, and even about these characters from Star Trek. Back in 1966, the planets was all in a mess, or maybe in a good way, dependin’ on how you look at it. That year was filled with all sorts of big changes and transits that affected the folks in the show, like them stars was up there lookin’ down and messin’ with their fate.
Take Captain Kirk for example. That feller, William Shatner, the one who played him, he was born under the Aries sign. Aries folks, they always got a lot of fire in ’em. They’re brave, full of fight, always the first ones to jump into action, just like that Kirk feller. They say Aries rules the head, so maybe that’s why Kirk’s always in charge, leading the crew with that big ol’ head of his. Now, Aries folks got a color too, it’s navy blue or indigo, and they’re partial to sapphire stones. You can’t miss ’em, they sure got a strong presence, just like that feller Shatner.
Then there’s Spock, that feller with the pointy ears. Now, Spock, he don’t seem like he’d be too big on astrology, but I reckon he might’ve had some star signs workin’ in his favor too. Folks say that Spock, just like Kirk, was influenced by them planets, though his temperament seemed a little calmer. Spock was born under a different sign, though they never did say exactly which one. Coulda been something like Virgo or Capricorn, ’cause he was always so logical and precise, never too hasty. They say Virgo’s real good at analyzin’ stuff, and Capricorns, well, they’re about duty and responsibility—kinda like Spock’s whole thing, always bein’ serious, like he had a mountain to climb and wasn’t gonna stop till he got there.
And I reckon the year 1966 was quite the year for astrology too. A lot of them planets was makin’ moves that year, and folks who follow them stars, well, they surely had their hands full. They call it “transits” when them planets move through the sky, and them changes can affect everything from the way you think to the way you act. Them astrologers back then might’ve been lookin’ up at the stars, wonderin’ how them shifts affected Captain Kirk and the rest of the crew. Maybe it made ’em braver or smarter, or maybe it just made ’em keep on fightin’ against them space villains.
But I digress. Now, not everybody puts stock in all that astrology talk, but I tell ya, it sure makes for a good story. You can watch these Star Trek episodes and see how each character plays their part, and I reckon you could look at their star signs and say, “Yep, that sure fits.” Whether it’s Kirk’s boldness, Spock’s cool head, or the rest of the crew’s roles, them stars might just have had a little somethin’ to do with it all. And if you’re a believer in them signs, well, maybe you’ll see a bit of yourself in ’em too. Just like those folks from the show, we all got our strengths and our weaknesses, and maybe the stars tell us a little bit about that.
So, the next time you sit down to watch Star Trek, think about them stars up there in the sky. Think about what they might be tellin’ ya about yourself, about your own place in this big ol’ universe. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll find yourself in a spaceship, off to explore strange new worlds—though I reckon you’ll still have to be a little brave, just like them folks from that show.
