Like tryin’ to grow the biggest watermelon in the county. Takes a lot of work, that does.
- They play all sorts of games. Minecraft, that’s the one with the blocks, right? My grandson, he’s always buildin’ things in that game. They play other stuff too, like “Rust” and “Arma 3.” Don’t ask me what those are, I ain’t got a clue. Sounds noisy, though.
- They make videos too. Like them YouTubers, I guess. Showin’ off their playin’ skills, talkin’ about games. My niece, she watches them all day long. Says they’re funny. I tried watchin’ once, but it just made my head spin. Too much flashin’ lights and loud noises.
They even got somethin’ called “drafts” every Friday and Saturday. Sounds like they pick players for teams, just like them cowboys draftin’ horses for a rodeo. Only these cowboys are sittin’ in front of a computer screen, not ridin’ a buckin’ bronco.
Wicked Gaming’s Got a Lot Going On
They’re a big bunch, these Wicked Gaming folks. A “global organization,” they call it. That means they got people all over the world playin’ for them. It’s like having a farm that stretches across the whole country! They’re on all sorts of “platforms,” which I guess means different kinds of computers and game systems. And they play all sorts of “titles,” which is just a fancy word for games, I reckon.
They seem real serious about this whole gaming thing. They say they value “quality over quantity,” which means they’d rather be good than be everywhere all at once. That makes sense to me. You don’t want a bunch of puny little tomatoes, you want a few big, juicy ones. Same thing with games, I suppose.

Now, these games, they used to use something called “Flash.” But that’s gone now, like the old outhouse we used to have out back. Times change, things get replaced. Can’t stick with the old ways forever, I guess.
If you wanna be good at these games, you gotta watch the best players, just like watchin’ the old-timers at the county fair to learn how to judge a good pig. They say watchin’ tournaments and streams helps you get better. That’s how these young’uns learn all them fancy tricks and strategies.
And if you got your own ideas for games, they say you can share them online. Like sharin’ a recipe for a good apple pie, only instead of pie, it’s a game. Just gotta be polite and respectful when you do it. Nobody likes a loudmouth, even in the digital world.
Wicked Gaming, Seems Alright
So, that’s the gist of it, as far as I can tell. These Wicked Gaming folks, they’re a bunch of youngsters playin’ games, makin’ videos, and tryin’ to be the best. It ain’t my cup of tea, but they seem to be doin’ alright. Long as they ain’t causin’ too much trouble, I say let ’em have their fun. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go check on my biscuits. They’re probably done by now.
And another thing…Seems like these Wicked Gaming folks, they got a community too. Like a bunch of friends gettin’ together to play cards, only they’re playin’ video games instead. They talk to each other, share tips, and have fun. That’s important, you know, havin’ folks to share things with. Even if it’s just a bunch of pixelated characters on a screen.
And they even have a social media presence they call it with over 200 “likes”. Can you believe it, my grandson don’t even get that many likes when he posts them silly pictures of his. Haha… oh well, guess times are a changin’.
